Synopsis
A boy at school begins to second guess the choice he and his friends made earlier at school when they did not include a new student during recess. He tells his grandfather the story, who in turn tells the boy of the struggles Jackie Robinson faced while beginning his career in Major League Baseball.

He adjusted his cap, in his Dodger blue as the catcher leaned over and spit on his shoe. The first pitch was high and all the way inside, but Jackie was determined to not be denied. He knew he’d face the music up by his chin, but always seemed to still find his grin. The fans were cheering as he was knocked to his seat, but Jackie was quick to get back on his feet. He dusted himself off and pulled up his socks. Without saying a word, he stepped back in the box.
